Understanding, Relief, and the Power to Change

Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis can relieve emotional pain and also be transformative beyond what you can imagine when you are immersed in turmoil and suffering. I help my patients discover and build on their strengths. It’s important to understand how a coping style that is no longer effective was once the best adjustment you could devise for your circumstances. You may well be living as though those same circumstances still exist without fully understanding that you are doing so.

Let’s talk. Your relationship with me may provide a powerful vehicle for understanding not only what goes on inside your mind but also what takes place in your relationships. It is crucial to choose a therapist with whom you can develop trust that allows you to speak without reservation. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space and hope to be able to assist you.
